"Solid Greece" program 2021 - 2027

EYD of the "Solid Greece" Program 

 

The Regional Program of Central Greece (PeP STE) 2021-2027 is one of the 13 Regional Programs of the NSRF 2021-2027.

The total resources allocated to the Program amount to 426.065.902,00 €, of which 315.684.496. € (74,1% of the total Program budget) are co-financed by the ERDF and the 110.381.406 € (25,9% of the total Program budget) are co-financed by EKT+. The Program's budget is increased by 2,2 times compared to the Operational Program "Solid Greece" 2014-2020, while the co-financing rate (participation in Public Expenditure) of the two (2) Funds is 85% for the new period, against 50% of the programming period 2014 – 2020.

The full text of the approved Program, approved by the EU in August 2022 (COMMISSION EXECUTIVE DECISION of 29.8.2022: CCI 2021EL16FFPR012).

The Monitoring Committee, i.e. the competent body for monitoring the implementation of the Program, was set up by Decision 2170/19-9-2022. (Government Gazette Issue B' 5010/26.09.2022).

Program priorities and structure

The Program is structured on the basis of the Policy Objectives of the new Cohesion Policy, aiming to cover focused needs and challenges of the Region of Central Greece.

The Program is structured in 8 Priorities (Axis), of which 4.02 & 6.02 are co-financed by EKT+, while the rest from the ERDF:

1. Strengthening the competitiveness and extroversion of the economy through the promotion of its innovative and intelligent transformation (€54 million)

2. Ensuring environmental sustainability, adaptation to climate change, risk prevention and management (€86 million)

3. Strengthening the connectivity of the Region (€31,2 million)

4.01. Strengthening social cohesion through the upgrading of mechanisms and infrastructures to support employment, education, health care and socio-economic inclusion (€62,4 million).

4.02. Strengthening social cohesion through the upgrading of mechanisms and services to support human resources, employment, education, health care, socio-economic inclusion, equal opportunities and addressing the risks of poverty and social exclusion (€108 million )

5. Strengthening spatial cohesion in the urban areas and the hinterland of the Region of Central Greece (€76,3 million)

6.01. ERDF Technical Assistance (€5,6 million)

6.02. EKT+ Technical Assistance (€2,3 million)

Environmental Impact Study (EIA)

The Strategic Environmental Impact Study of the Program aims to provide added value to development planning with a process that integrates the environmental dimension into the planning and at the same time complements the environmental licensing related to the underlying level of the projects and activities.

It was prepared in accordance with the provisions of KYA 107017/2006 (Government Gazette 1225/B/5-9-2006), as amended by YA. house 40238/2017 (Official Gazette 3759/B/ 25-10-2017).

It was presented in detail to the Central Greece Regional Council at the 9th Meeting (Regular) of April 28, 2022 and received approval.

It was approved by Decision No. YPEN/DIPA/63116/4358/20-6-2022.
